THE SKY'S THE LIMIT FOR MILE HIGH GAMING

European plane maker Airbus is planning a hedonistic adventure for all passengers traveling on the world's largest airliner, its A380 double-decker.

Claiming to be the Rolls Royce of planes with a list price at $300million (the smaller Boeing 747-400 jumbo is worth $120million), the A380 will certainly make heads spin with the services it aims to provide from within this mammoth airplane.

Besides the normal amenities found in any first class plane, the space could also be utilized to include a cocktail bar, casino, showers, libraries and sleeping quarters (a sure hit with fellow UK passengers). Major brands may soon be jumping on the plane wing by offering a complete lifestyle package to passengers while traveling to and from major destinations. We could therefore, see airlines allowing their planes to be sponsored by many of the major consumer and gaming brands, for example our very own InterCasino, with the experience set to become a mini Vegas holiday in the air.

Dubai-based airline Emirates will have the largest A380 fleet at 45 planes, with Singapore Airlines being the first airline to use the A380 and is scheduled to take delivery by the end of 2006. As such, the year 2007 looks set to be an exciting and jackpot year for both airlines stepping into the next generation of aviation and passengers wishing to experience the ultimate indulgence from the heavens.
