InterCasino's multi-player Baccarat is played and programmed with Atlantic City Gaming rules. Authority: New Jersey Casino Control Commission.
Rule Exceptions: The cards are shuffled after each hand.
At the start of each game two hands are dealt in Baccarat; The Banker's hand and the Player's hand. Before each deal the player is able to place a wager on whether the Player's or the Banker's hand is closet to a total of 9. The player is also able to opt in to wager on a tie (both the banker's and player's hands total the same amount). There are 8 decks of 52 cards used.
Your chips are first stacked by denomination ($1, $5, $25, $100, $500) at the bottom of the gaming window. The player then selects the amount they want to wager on a given hand by clicking on the chip of the denomination they would like to use.
The player then places their bet on the Baccarat table by clicking on one of the bet fields. The player can also specify a bet that is not equal to an existing chip denomination by clicking on a different chip denomination after placing the last chip on the table. For example, placing a $25 chip and then a $5 chip would make the total of the bet $30.
The player is also able to withdraw their entire wager simply by clicking on the right mouse button. The total of the bet being played will appear in the "Bet" section just below "User". The player may repeat their last bet by clicking on the ReBet button or the "0" button on the numeric computer keyboard. Any other keyboard shortcuts are summarized below. If the player places a wager that is below the table bet limit, the bet will automatically be put to the minimum bet limit.
Within the multi-player version of Baccarat each table can accommodate 5 players and a dealer. You may change your position at the table by clicking in the spot required between the hands. Each player starts by placing a bet on the Baccarat table. The player may place a bet when the Deal and Pass button, as well as the betting chips are placed in front of your seat.
There are three types of bet that a player can wager on - the Player's hand (the player clicks on the first circle from the end of the table to place the wager), the Banker's hand (click on the second circle), or the Tie (click on the number above the second circle to place the wager). A combination of all three bets can also be made. The player places their amount by clicking on the Baccarat field they would like to bet on (Player, Banker, Tie).
After placing their bet on the table, the player may chose to skip the giben deal (before the first card is dealt) by pressing "Pass" or proceed with the bet by pressing the 2Deal" button. If the player does neither of these within 15 seconds then they will be automatically excluded from that particular hand. Note: if a player joins the table in the middle of a hand, they must wait until that round is over before they are able to bet on the next hand.
After every player has pressed Pass or Deal the Player and the Banker are dealt two cards. All tens and picture cards are equal to zero, aces are worth 1 and all other cards are based on their face value. If the value of the cards exceeds 9 then the value is adjusted by taking 10 from the total.
| Hand | Hand Total |
|---|---|
| 9+7=16 | 6 |
| 5+5+5=15 | 5 |
| 10+9=19 | "Natural" 9 |
As soon as the first two cards are dealt to both the Player and the Dealer, a third card may be dealt although the player does not ask for a third card. All cards that are additional are subject to the "Third Card Rule", and no hand receives more than three cards. When both the Player and the Banker's hand equals the same total the hand is called a tie. If the value of either the Player or the Banker's hand is 8 or 9 (known as a "natural") after receiving their first two cards then no more cards shall we dealt. However, if the value of the Banker's hand on the first to cards is between 0 and 7 then the Player's hand shall we drawn in accordance to the "Thirds Card Rules".
If the Player's two cards total:
| Player's Hand | Draw? |
|---|---|
| 0-5 | Player's hand must draw |
| 6-7 | Player's hand must stand |
| 8-9 | "Natural" (both hands stand) |
After the Player's Hand acts on a third card draw, the Banker's Hand receives a third card according to these rules:
| Banker's Hand | Draw? |
|---|---|
| 0-2 | Banker's hand must draw |
| 3-6 | Third card to Player's hand determines draw or stand |
| 7 | Banker's hand must stand |
When the Banker's two cards total between 3-6:
| Banker's Hand | Banker's hand draws when Player's third card is: | Banker's hand does not draw when Player's third card is: |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-9 | 8 |
| 4 | 2-3-4-5-6-7 | 0,1,8,9 |
| 5 | 4-5-6-7 | 0-1-2-3-8-9 |
| 6 | 6-7 | 0-1-2-3-4-5-8-9 |
| 7 | Banker's hand must stand | Banker's hand must stand |
| 8-9 | "Natural" - Bank stands | "Natural" - Bank stands |
If the Player's hand stands on two cards (6,7), then a two card Banker hand totalling 3,4,5 must draw and a Banker hand totalling 6 must stand.
| Wager and Result | Payoff |
|---|---|
| A winning Player hand wager | 1 to 1 |
| A winning Banker hand wager (5% commission on winnings for the House) | 1 to 1 |
| A winning Tie wager | 8 to 1 |
If the player bets on the winning hand then you are paid one to one. However, if the player bets a tie they are able to win 8 times the amount you originally bet. Note: if the player backs the Banker's hand, the House charges a small percentage.

You are able to view a list of the previous winners, which is displayed on the left hand side of the screen. The hand of the Banker is indicated by a B, the Player's by a P, and a tie is indicated by a dash '-'. Consecutive wins by either player are displayed in the same column, and a new column is created when either the Banker or Player starts a new winning streak. A tie is considered part of the same winning streak, and so is included in the same column as the previous winner.
