Rule Authority:
InterCasino Punto Banco is played and programmed with Atlantic City Gaming rules.
Authority: New Jersey Casino Control Commission.
Rule Exceptions: The cards are shuffled when the cut card is reached. The cut card is inserted seven cards from the end. When the cut card is reached either the current coup is completed or a final on initiated.
Premise:
Two hands are dealt in Punto Banco - The Banker's hand and the Player's hand. Prior to each deal, the player wagers on whether the Player's hand or the Banker's hand is closest to a total of 9. The player also has the option to wager on a tie (i.e. both the banker's and player's hands total the same). 6 decks of 52 cards are used.

How to Play:
Betting:
Your chips are stacked by denomination (£1.00, £5.00, £25.00, £100.00, £500.00) at the bottom of the game window. Select the amount you would like to wager on a given hand by clicking the left mouse button on the chip of that denomination to activate it.
Next, place your bet on the Baccarat table by clicking on a bet field. To specify a bet that is not equal to an existing chip denomination, simply click on another chip denomination after placing your previous chip on the table. For example, to bet 30.00, click on the 25.00 chip and place it on the table then click on the £5.00 chip and place it on top of the £25.00 chip.
By clicking on the right mouse button you will withdraw your entire wager. Your total bet will be displayed in the "Bet" just below "Balance". You may repeat your last bet by clicking on the shortcuts which are summarized below. If you place a wager that is lower than the minimum table bet limit, your bet amount will be automatically adjusted to the minimum bet amount.

Multi-Player (Only for Multi Player, please ignore for Single Player):
In the multi-player version of Punto Banco, each table can accommodate eight players and the dealer. You must select the seat you would like when entering the game, if the seat you have chosen you will be given the next available seat. You may change your position on the table by exiting the game and reentering.
The shoe will be placed in front of the croupier (the virtual dealer). The Croupier offers the shoe to you and as the player you maybe offered a pop-up box stating, “You have been offered to cut the deck. By cutting the deck you accept to be the dealer for this hand. Your options are Buttons: Yes, I want to cut the shoe OR No, I do not want to cut the shoe” Then you have to decide whether or not to be the dealer. If you decline to cut the shoe, the shoe moves to the next player. If you accept to cut the shoe an animation appears with a yellow card and a deck and then you will place the yellow card where you would like to cut. If you or and other player does not accept to cut the cards, the croupier will cut the cards randomly. Once the cards are cut the dealer is to draw the first card from the shoe. The dealer reveals that card and burns (not shown on table) that many cards. Aces are 1 and, Face Cards are 10. The shoe moves to the player who accepted the cards to cut or the croupier remains with the shoe and the first hand is dealt. The yellow card will then be placed back in the deck and will be used as a designator as to when a shoe is complete.
Each player begins a hand by placing a bet on the Baccarat table. You may place a bet when the "Deal" button, "Pass" button and betting chips are placed in front of your seat.
There are three types of bets a player may wager on - the Player's hand (click on the first circle from the end of the table to place the wager), the Banker's hand (click on the second circle from the end of the table to place the wager), or the Tie bet (click on the number above the second circle to place the wager). A combination of these bets can also be made. Place your wagered amount by clicking with the left mouse button on the Baccarat table field you would like to bet (Player, Banker, Tie).
Once you have placed a bet on the table, you may choose to skip the given deal (before your first card is dealt) by clicking on the "Pass" button or to proceed with the bet by pressing "Deal". If you do not bet or pass within 15 seconds from the beginning of your turn, you will be automatically excluded from that particular hand. Note that if you join a table in the middle of a hand, you must wait until the round is over and after that you will be able to bet on the next hand.

Dealing (Only for Single Player, please ignore for Multi Player):

After the player has pressed either the Deal or Pass button, the Player and Banker are dealt two cards. All tens and picture cards are worth zero, aces are worth 1, and all other cards are worth their face value. If the value of cards exceeds 9, then the value is adjusted by subtracting 10 from the total.
Example:
| Hand | Hand Total |
|---|---|
| 9+7=16 | 6 |
| 5+5+5=15 | 5 |
| 10+9=19 | "Natural" 9 |
After the first two cards are dealt to both the Player and Dealer, a third additional card may be dealt but the player does not ask for a third card. All additional cards are subject to a "Third Card Rule". No hand receives more than three cards. When the Player and Banker hands equal the same total, the hand is declared a Tie. If the value of the cards in either the Player's Hand or the Banker's Hand is an 8 or a 9 (a "natural") after receiving their initial two cards then no more cards shall be dealt to either hand. If the value of the cards in the Banker's hand on the first two cards is 0 to 7 inclusive, the Player's hand shall draw in accordance with the "Third Card Rules".

Third Card Rules:
If the Player's two cards total:
| Player's Hand | Draw? |
|---|---|
| 0-5 | Player's hand must draw |
| 6-7 | Player's hand must stand |
| 8-9 | "Natural" (both hands stand) |
After the Player's Hand acts on a third card draw, the Banker's Hand receives a third card according to these rules:
| Banker's Hand | Draw? |
|---|---|
| 0-2 | Banker's hand must draw |
| 3-6 | Third card to Player's hand determines draw or stand |
| 7 | Banker's hand must stand |
When the Banker's two cards total between 3-6:
| Banker's Hand | Banker's hand draws when Player's third card is: | Banker's hand does not draw when Player's third card is: |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-9 | 8 |
| 4 | 2-3-4-5-6-7 | 0,1,8,9 |
| 5 | 4-5-6-7 | 0-1-2-3-8-9 |
| 6 | 6-7 | 0-1-2-3-4-5-8-9 |
| 7 | Banker's hand must stand | Banker's hand must stand |
| 8-9 | "Natural" - Bank stands | "Natural" - Bank stands |
If the Player's hand stands on two cards (6, 7), then a two card Banker hand totaling 3, 4, 5 must draw and a Banker hand totaling 6 must stand.

Payoffs:
| Wager and Result | Payoff |
|---|---|
| A winning Player hand wager | 1 to 1 |
| A winning Banker hand wager (5% commission on winnings for the House) | 1 to 1 |
| A winning Tie wager | 8 to 1 |
If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid 1 to 1. If you bet on a tie, you win eight (8) times the amount you originally bet. Please note that if you win when backing the Banker's hand, the House charges a small percentage.
