Super casino site could move

Manchester is contemplating moving the site of the new super casino to a different location within the city.
This decision could create uproar, as residents of Blackpool are already suggesting foul play from Manchester's casino bid.
Speaking to the Telegraph, Sir Richard Leese, Manchester council leader explained that the site's location could be changed during discussions with operators.
Although the development would have to meet with regeneration specifications, it did not have to take place in the east end of Manchester, he explained.
Sir Richard commented: "There is probably a very high chance that the location will be the east Manchester site but it is open to bidders to propose other sites."
When the decision was made, the chair of the Casino Advisory Panel, Professor Stephen Crow, said: "The Panel was won over by how well the Manchester proposal in particular delivered against the full range of requirements set out in the criteria against which the judgments were made."
They have not commented on whether a change in location would be a possible ground for reconsidering their decision.
