British schools offering gambling classes

Two of the UK's leading private schools have brought in gambling experts to advise pupils who enjoy gambling both online and offline, it has been revealed.
Both Harrow and King's College School in Wimbledon have sought external assistance to deal with the matter, with pupils reportedly finding it difficult to concentrate on their studies because of having gambled the night before, the Sunday Telegraph reports.
The growth of gambling in both the US and UK has seen the pastime become popular with teenagers, with some US students hitting the headlines recently when their habits scooped them large cash sums in online tournaments.
School officials said they had attempted to shed greater light on the practice.
"It was never clear how much they were betting. The pupils said it was not a lot of money - obviously they were defensive about it," said Kevin Hawney, head of pastoral care at King's College, speaking to the Telegraph.
