The biggest poker club complex in Europe could open in Nottingham should a poker firm be successful in its licence application.
Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) Poker has applied for a licence to embark upon a £7 million project which it says will make Nottingham one of the poker centres of Europe.
The firm recently secured a deal with software company CryptoLogic to provide games for its online offering, and has signed up poker professionals such as ex-EastEnder Michael Greco as part of its promotional campaign.
"We've already got 3,600 members before we've even opened the doors. Poker is a growing business," said owner Robert Yong, according to the BBC.
"We have spent £4 million building Europe's biggest poker club and another £3 million on a 15-year lease, proving our commitment to the city," he added.
