Great British Poker Tour gets star-studded line-up

The Great British Poker Tour (GBPT) grand final will take place from November 5th to 11th and several big players have lined up to make their mark.

Gala Casino Harbourside in Bristol will be hosting the event where Antonio Esfandiari, Jennifer Tilley, Phil Laak, Jamie Gold and Robert Williamson III are all expected to appear.

Tournament director for the GBPT Thomas Kremsner commented on the announcement saying: "So far in the GBPT we've seen a really high standard of poker from local amateurs holding their own against the UK and European pro-players.

"It'll be fascinating to see what drama will unfold with these star names of world poker in the frame. For any aspiring poker players, it simply doesn't get any better than this."

The prize pool for the event is estimated at £500,000.

ITV4 are to televise.
