British poker fans will probably be celebrating this week, as news that popular Texas hold 'em show Late Night Poker (LNP) is to return to their screens.
Channel 4 will yet again be airing the show, which will return to its original format, according to Online Poker Press.
LNP was a tournament which consisted of eight hour-long episodes - seven heats, one semi-final - and a special one and a half hour long final.
When it first broadcast in the early hours of the morning between 1999 and 2002 it was at the crest of a poker wave and since then the sport has gone from strength to strength.
LNP also helped to popularise the use of "under-the-table" cameras.
Buy-in for the show was normally around £1,500 with the grand prize ranging from £40,000 to £60,000.
World Series of Poker bracelet holders Dave "The Devilfish" Ulliott, Phil Hellmuth Jr and Hemish Shah have all won previous series, while Barny Boatman rose to fame as one of the commentators.
