The iPhone is set to receive its first fully-working blackjack game that enables its owners to play for real money, it has been claimed.
Probability, a company that specialises in gambling services for mobile phones, has pioneered the programme, according to Thomson Financial.
"The iPhone Blackjack has all the features of the real game, including insurance, split and double down options," the news provider said.
Gambling on mobile phones has been growing in popularity in recent years, with numerous developers bringing out poker and slots games, including Probability itself.
The company currently has a portfolio of games including Jingle Jackpot, Union Jackpot, Fortune Teller, Lady Luck's Bingo and Slots and Lady Luck's Casino - which features a blackjack game, as well as roulette, hi-lo and video poker.
Probability won the mobile operator of the year gong at the 2005 E-Gaming Review awards.
