Cricket legend Shane Warne has said he will not be able to participate in this year's Twenty20 Cup because he will be playing poker instead, it has been revealed.
The Hampshire player announced his intentions in his column for the Times, in which he said he was trying to expand his horizons.
"Now that I am retired from international cricket - in fact all cricket in Australia - I am gradually moving into other areas," he wrote.
"There is a deal in the pipeline with a poker company that will involve playing in certain events through the year. I can fit what I do around the cricket."
Warne mentioned the World Series of Poker as taking place at the same time as one of the cricket's biggest events.
A charity poker tournament held in 2006 was hosted by Warne and attracted celebrities such as Hugh Grant and Sting.
