Hipkiss 'the expert' in six nations poker

While England lost their first match of the six nations over the weekend, Leicester player Dan Hipkiss at least won some pride for his country - by being named as the poker expert among his teammates.
Hipkiss hosted a poker tournament featuring Leicester Tigers representatives from all six European teams, the Times reports.
He had apparently already defeated the England team in a tournament before the world cup, although he eventually lost out to a representative from sponsors O2.
Scotland's ambassador James Hamilton won the six nations event the end, but did not have any winnings to take due to being the only person who actually paid the £20 buy-in.
Hipkiss promised to pay Hamilton back the day after the game, to which the Scotsman jokily replied: "Shall I just take you TV as a deposit?"
The poker game turned out to be the only thing Scotland won over the weekend as they were later thrashed by France.
