Boris Becker has said he would love to play a number of his old tennis rivals at poker.
According to the Associated Press, the German star told Die Wiet newspaper that it would be interesting to see how some of the top players from his era coped with the card playing game.
"I would like to know how people like Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, John McEnroe, Stefan Edberg, Ivan Lendl or even Jimmy Connors, manage to keep their cool at poker," he remarked.
Becker has been playing poker competitively for a year and recently signed a sponsorship deal with a major online poker company.
The agreement involved Becker taking poker lessons to improve his game.
He claimed he learned the sport on the ATP tour and that it is the judgement aspect of the game that appeals to him.
"What fascinates me about poker is the psychology - what is my opponent thinking of me and what do I think of him?" he said.
