DTD decision "a no-brainer"

2008-07-31 14:09:16

The decision to cut the opening times of Nottingham's Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) poker club was the right one, according to one of its patrons.

DTD's official website listed a number of positive comments from customers about the move, with an anonymous writer suggesting changing to a five-day week was the best way to improve the service on offer.

"Rob [Yong, the owner] always put customer experience at the very top of his wish list and if the team feels that this is waning due to pressure on staff, then it is a no-brainer," the person remarked.

DTD became the UK's first poker club less than a year ago and has quickly risen to become the country's premier venue for cards tournaments.

Snooker legend and poker enthusiast Steve Davis has been seen at the location in recent months, while the Norwegian Poker Championship elected to hold its grand final at DTD back in November.
