"Luxury shopping budget" for BB casino housemates

Contestants on popular Channel 4 reality TV show Big Brother won a "luxury shopping basket" yesterday after completing the first part of their Las Vegas casino-themed task.

According to the show's official website, the second part of the challenge will begin today, with the details yet to be revealed.

Cards played a major part of Tuesday's BB activities and one competitor, Darnell, has speculated that further casino games could be on their way to the house.

"They still could use slot machines, bring in a roulette table, make us play blackjack," he remarked.

Should BB go the blackjack route, it will not be the first time that the casino game has hit the small screen this year.

Kevin Spacey movie 21, which focuses on the card-counting exploits of the MIT blackjack time in Las Vegas and Atlantic City in the early 1990s, was recently released on DVD around the world.
