Negreanu and Brunson heading to WSOP Europe

Doyle Brunson and Daniel Negreanu will both be in London for the start of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Europe event, which gets underway on Friday September 19th.

Both card sharps revealed in recent weeks that they intended to take part in the poker extravaganza and their attendance has been confirmed in respective blog posts.

On Full Contact Poker, Negreanu said that he is already in England's capital and is enjoying his hotel much more than he did the one he stayed in last year.

Meanwhile, Brunson wrote his latest journal article just a short time before he was scheduled to get on the plane to the UK.

"It's a long way to go but I'm committed to go," he remarked.

"I'm going to try to really focus on playing and give it my best shot."

WSOP Europe takes place at the Casino at the Empire in Leicester Square and begins with a £1,500 no-limit Texas hold'em tournament.
