CryptoLogic to increase online casino focus

CryptoLogic, the gaming software provider for a number of major websites including InterCasino.co.uk, has announced that it will increase its focus on the online casino sector in the future.

The Ireland-based company said it aimed to increase its profitability by paying more attention to this sector, with branded games - such as Marvel Slots - one of the key investment areas.

CryptoLogic began producing Marvel Slots in 2005 when it obtained the licence to a number of characters.

Games involving characters such as The Hulk, Daredevil and The X-Men have since proven to be widely popular and have received a number of positive reviews since their inception.

Slots Crazy commented: "These slots are extremely entertaining to play and you almost feel as though you are playing a PS3 game but with the added bonus of winning real money for all your conquests."

As well as putting greater emphasis on the online casino segment, CryptoLogic also hopes to increase profits by reducing costs by up to $15 million (£8.79 million).
