JC Tran is heading towards a record-breaking score at the PartyPoker Premier League after finishing runner-up for the second time in two days in heat seven.
Tran was looking to turn his fourth heads-up of the competition into his third victory, but was denied by internet superstar Tom 'Durrr' Dwan, Matchroom Poker reports.
He has yet to finish outside the top two in any Premier League heat so far and the six points he picked up yesterday took his overall total to 32.
This left him ten ahead of Dwan, who moved up into second position in the rankings.
Roland De Wolfe finished in third to go joint-third in the table on 16 points, while fourth place for Nenad Medic lifted him further away from the bottom of the table on nine points.
Tony G was fifth, increasing his total to 16, while Phil Hellmuth remains on 13 points after coming last.
Tran has enjoyed a good year on the poker circuit during 2008 and currently lies 31st in Card Player magazine's player of the year rankings.
