The final table of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Grand Final has been described as featuring "a fantastic mix of old school UK players".
According to Poker News, the presence of World Poker Tour titlist Surindar Sunar, Jeff Duvall and former professional footballer Tony Cascarino led to an entertaining last day of the competition, which was capped off by an "epic heads-up" between Duval and Paul Foltyn.
The latter went on to take the title and first-place prize of £167,050, while Duvall received £96,600 for second.
Ireland's Guy Steel finished third, followed by Norwegian Erik Svanes, Stuart Rutter, Cascarino - who was hunting his second GUKPT title of the year - Stuart Nash, Sunar and Richard Ashby.
Svanes had gone into the final table with a large chip lead but was unable to maintain his advantage and slipped back to fourth position.
It was the third time that he has appeared in the final table of a GUKPT event in 2008.
