Jackpot winner puts it down to feng shui

Following a significant jackpot win, one gamer has attributed his luck to recent feng shui advice.

Jim Riley, a self-employed electrician from Bedfordshire, scooped the £95,771 prize while playing Pharaoh's Treasure online and said it is the Chinese belief system that is responsible.

Earlier this year, a home visit from a work colleague led to Mr Riley adhering to advice regarding keeping the bathroom door closed, as the ancient law believes an open door can lead to wealth opportunities going down the drain.

Since then, a £3,000 win at a local casino, three big slot machine successes and another £1,200 jackpot prize win finally led up to the big £95,000 climax.

"I will take my dad to Canada for a holiday and send my brother to New Zealand as he has always wanted to go there. I'm also going to spoil my grandchildren with presents," Mr Riley said.

Although an ancient belief system, feng shui is now a part of western culture with a range of advice books and experts on hand.
