Guru advises playing the slots "on your own terms"

There are tactics to keep in mind when playing the slots either online or at the casino, one expert has advised.

In a blog posted on the Casino City Times website, Gaming Guru John Brokopp states that interactive bonuses and free spins can keep players glued to the screen, but adds there is always a time to play it cool.

He suggests it is often better to play more steadily and carefully than simply going for the big prize and adds that gamers should "attend casinos on your own terms".

Mr Brokopp goes on to advise that bonus rounds and jackpot runs "are very different", noting that the former "fulfils the promise of a sizable win", whereas the latter provides "just a maybe".

"But that's a mighty big five-letter word for many people," he concludes.
