Kansas casino development a step closer

2009-05-08 16:03:03

Construction work on a new gambling resort in Kansas is continuing at pace, it has been announced.

Butler National Corporation is the approved manager of the state's south-west gaming zone and has a contract to build the new Boot Hill Casino and Resort in Dodge City in time for a December 2009 opening.

The development is underway on a one hundred-acre piece of land in the area and the company has highlighted the progress being made through a series of pictures placed on its official website.

Clark Stewart, president and chief executive officer of Butler National Corporation, said the new site will be a "first-class destination casino and resort to south-west Kansas".

He added: "We are excited about the building progress to date. Currently, there are approximately 100 people involved with the project."

The development of the casino marks a relative departure for Butler National Corporation, which is arguably best known for working in the aerospace and services business.
