Devilfish to make Oxford Union appearance

Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliott is to take questions from students at an event held at the Oxford Union this weekend.

He will be speaking about poker and his career when he makes an appearance on Saturday May 16th, three weeks ahead of the Oxford Cup poker tournament.

The debating and social society exists separately from Oxford University and the student union, with famous faces appearing there in the past including Albert Einstein, Richard Nixon and Winston Churchill.

Ulliott described the occasion as a "real honour", noting that "some of the great minds and talents of the last 200 years" have gone before him.

"Poker is a complex game that suits brilliant thinkers like me," he added.

Ulliott is currently taking part in a series of poker academies hosted in the UK by Bluff Europe.

So far he has appeared at events in Manchester and Birmingham, offering tips and advice to intermediate players.
