Brit manages the poker Triple Crown

British card sharp Roland de Wolfe has become one of only two players to pick up titles in three of the most prestigious series' in the poker world.

In 2005 he picked up a World Poker Tour (WPT) title at the Grand Prix De Paris and finished first in the European Poker Tour Dublin Championship the following year.

However, the gamer's achievement surpassed those of other winners in these competitions when he took down a World Series of Poker (WSOP) title in the 27th event of the 2009 series.

He defeated Brett Richey in heads up play to pocket the $246,616 first prize in the $5,000 pot-limit Omaha event at the Rio Hotel & Casino.

The only player to have won the Triple Crown before was Gavin Griffin, who won completed the treble when he took down the WPT Winter Open at the Borgata last year.

De Wolfe's winnings in live tournaments total $3,985,703, while Griffin has amassed more than $4,450,000 so far in his career.
