Roland de Wolfe's recent win at the World Series of Poker $5,000 pot-limit Omaha eight-or-better event earned him the Triple Crown and - according to one poker website - Jason Mercier is the most likely to emulate his achievement.
In order to win the Triple Crown, gamers have to triumph in WSOP, World Poker Tour (WPT) and European Poker Tour (EPT) events.
According to Poker News, the most likely gamer to do this on the circuit at the moment is Mercier, who has two EPT titles and a WSOP bracelet.
Bertrand Grospellier was also noted as a player to watch, having picked up titles in the WPT and EPT.
Canadian gamer Daniel Negreanu featured in the number three spot - the gamer is one of only a few to have triumphed in multiple events at both the WSOP and WPT, although an EPT title still eludes him.
Of these gamers, Negreanu has won the most money in major live tournaments so far in his career and only Jamie Gold has earned more than him.
