Finnish poker pro Patrik Antonius picked up a big win against Gus Hansen in cash games on Monday (April 18th) evening.
Antonius bagged winnings of $137,000 (£83,601) in 126 hands of $300/$600 Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) and of $3,000/$6,000 PLO Hi-Lo, Poker Listings reports.
He was able to gain a modicum of revenge over the Danish pro for a number of bad beats in the last few months, with Hansen taking several hundreds of thousands of dollars off him over the weekend.
It would appear, however, that Antonius's luck is beginning turn.
Card Player recently reported that Hansen saw his woeful form of the last few weeks turned around after he lost more than $1 million in just seven days.
However, a steady number of big pots over the last week has seen the Dane regain his spot atop the professional leaderboard with winnings so far this year of more than $4 million.
