A deal has been struck which saw Terry Crowe become the latest winner of a World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold ring at the ongoing tournament at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
He won $9,766 (£5,897) after the final six players decided that enough was enough and requested a deal be struck. It saw Crowe awarded first place and, more importantly, the title and coveted WSOP gold ring.
It was his first ever tournament win, against what was one of the smallest fields of this year's events with just 118 players in the $300 (+$50) buy-in Omaha High-Low Split tournament.
Richard Huberty was crowned the winner in the second gold ring event of the WSOP Caesars Palace earlier this week.
The 54-year-old from Kentucky picked up a winner's cheque for $29,047 (£17,856) for his efforts, as well as gaining 50 points towards qualification for the upcoming WSOP Regional Championship.
A further seven WSOP gold ring events are set to take place at the Caesars Palace tournament.
